Foot traffic at a Washington DC gay bar and pizza deliveries from restaurants near the Pentagon are being used to predict military activity in the Middle East, in a security failure for the US Department of Defence.
Pentagon Pizza Report (@PenPizzaReport) has been using publicly available activity data from Washington DC pizza stores and a gay bar in the vicinity of the Pentagon to predict world events.
Such as Israel’s recent strikes on Iran, that has killed over two hundred people so far.
The Pentagon Pizza Report account was created in August of last year.
The account posts “open-source tracking of pizza spot activity around the Pentagon (and other places)”.
With “frequent-ish updates on where the lines are long.”
According to Pentagon Pizza Report, whenever there is a surge of pizza sales and foot traffic at Freddie’s Beach Bar is down, that means Pentagon employees are responding to world events that are keeping them working into the night.

How does Freddie’s Beach Bar fit in?
On Thursday night, the account reported that nearly every pizza place in Washington DC’s Crystal City area was experiencing a “HUGE surge in activity.”
It also noted that “Freddie’s Beach Bar, the closest gay bar to the Pentagon, has abnormally low traffic for a Thursday night.”
“Potentially indicating a busy night at the Pentagon.”
That same night, Israel launched its assault on Iran’s nuclear program.
Striking enrichment facilities and targets across the country in a bid to assassinate top military leaders and nuclear scientists.
The surge in pizza sales and low foot traffic at Freddie’s Beach Bar would suggest advanced knowledge of Israel’s plans to strike Iran.
That an X.com user could work that out using such mundane and publicly accessible information is an embarrassing security failure by the world’s largest military apparatus.
Freddie’s Beach Bar opened in 2001 and billed itself as a “straight-friendly gay bar”.
Which gave gay and lesbian service members the cover to be seen drinking there under the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.
The policy banned openly gay people from the military between 1994 and 2011.
The Pentagon is the world’s second-largest office building, after India’s Surat Diamond Bourse, and contains a number of restaurants – but not a pizzeria.
