Getting married but don’t even know where to start planning your perfect wedding?

Brisbane’s Broadway Chapel in Woolloongabba is owned and run by local couple James and Nick (pictured), and they’re thrilled to welcome the first same-sex couples to the heritage-listed venue.

They’re offering prospective couples the chance to sign up for Same-Sex Marriage Boot Camp, an special information session they’re holding at the venue.

Couples will learn all about the role of the marriage celebrant and their legal and personal requirements, and get the opportunity to speak with some of Brisbane’s leading wedding professionals.

The event is offered free to the first 15 couples who register, and is strictly RSVP only.

“Many couples never thought we would ever get the opportunity to marry our life partners, and now with marriage equality we look forward to welcoming couples from our community for weddings,” James said.

“Broadway Chapel is proud to present our first Same-Sex Marriage Boot Camp for the LGBTI community to help them answer the question ‘What do we do now?'”
