When New Jersey-based news site NJ.com posted a story about the region’s miserable weather it created a storm – quite literally – on social media.
The post included a map, provided by AccuWeather, which showed a giant, phallic-shaped green band of rain blanketing the eastern seaboard.
BuzzFeed tweeted an image of the storm, saying: “Looks like the storm front is penetrating deep into New England!”
So, to brighten your day, here’s a selection of other comments:
“Great. I’ve got weather envy.”
“I would be proud to have a weather map like that.”
“Looks like this rain will last for four hours … if it lasts any longer call a dr.”
“We are really getting the shaft of it here in Flemington.”
“Wear protection if you go out today.”
“Looks like we are going to be hit by the incredible Hulk’s erection.”
“They really dropped the ball on this one.”
