BBC weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans is clearly a big fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
To celebrate International Drag Day on July 16, the self-described “unapologetically flamboyant BBC weatherman” filling his weather report that day with drag queen references, in a video clip that’s gone viral online.
“The time has come for me to forecast for my life,” he told the audience, before delivering the report packed with iconic drag catchphrases and references to queens including Courtney Act, Detox, Katya, Charlie Hides and even bearded Austrian Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst.
Evans even pulled out a fan, Latrice Royale-style, as he described how the local weather could get “breezy at time”.
Some of the queens he name-dropped, including RuPaul himself, responded as the clip spread across social media.
