Drag queen and celebrity impersonator Kristie Champagne had a life-changing moment when she got the chance to meet her idol Adele at the singer’s recent Seattle concert.
Kristie, aka Kristopher Zello, went along to the Seattle gig dressed in full Adele drag, and in between songs the singer pulled Kristie out of the crowd and brought her up on stage.
Adele complimented Kristie’s dress and called her “the best Adele I’ve ever seen” and gave her a hug.
“You seriously changed my life for the better,” Kristie replied, telling her idol that she impersonates the singer on stage twice a week at a local Seattle venue.
Adele has been on the road touring her most recent album 25 for several months. She’s previously offered to be surrogate mum to a gay couple who got engaged on her stage and in June paid tribute to the victims of the Orlando nightclub massacre.
