Seann Miley Moore Eurovision My Body

Seann Miley Moore is another fierce contestant getting ready for Eurovision: Australia Decides in just two weeks with the song, My Body

After appearing on the X-Factor UK and The Voice Australia Seann Miley Moore is a familiar face, and voice.

Now, this talented and proud singer is ready to take on Eurovision with an important message.

He sat down to talk with Michael James about the powerful new anthem written by Arna and Vanessa Rogers, the No Frills Twins.

Seann Miley Moore: I stand here as a proud brown man, a proud queer man and a proud Australian

Seann Miley Moore is not just a talented singer.

He is a passionate performer who ensures he uses his platforms through music to spread powerful and positive messages.

After performing around the world, he is about to take on the biggest competition yet, Eurovision: Australia Decides.

And Seann Miley Moore is as vivacious, bold and empowered as ever.

“Bigger, Better, My Body Honey!”

Straight off the mark, Seann wants the world to know he’s here to spread a message.

“I stand here as a proud brown man, a proud queer man and a proud Australian.

“And to be on that stage giving all your beautiful pride, that’s what it’s all about.”

There is something invigorating, contagious and empowering in the raw authenticity of Seann’s words.

“I’m going to give you all the beauty, all the boldness and all the body ody ody.”

His entry into the competition is going to be all about that boldness and empowering body positivity for everyone.

“It’s being comfortable in the skin that you’re in and ultimate expression and ultimate pride, whatever that may be.”

My Body: “Everybody is welcome in Seann Miley Moores world”

There is one word for everything about Seann’s performance that resonates through everything he says.

Eurovision is all about your pride. Pride in who you are and pride in your country.

“It’s gonna be so beautiful. I’m gonna be bold and brave and body, honey.”

Sean is pumped about My Body, the original track by the No Frills Twins.

“It’s an anthem. I’m giving you Eurotrash-dance-floor-pop but I’m giving you vocals and emotion for days.”

If there’s anyone that could blend those elements together, it’s Seann Miley Moore.

“Look obviously this is the most fabulous stage, but the message is really ultimate empowerment in yourself and that’s the message of the song.”

For Seann the message is global, a chance to share his message with everyone in the world.

“Yes it’s gonna be gay rights on that stage, but the purpose and the message was really inspired by the fact in Australia we have equality. It’s such a beautiful thing we have this.

“But we have to understand in 71 countries it is still illegal to be queer.

“Even in 8 of those countries, you could be executed for being queer.

“So to be on this stage right now, is ultimate power, privilege and pride.

“I’m on this stage for each and every one of you.”

“That’s why I say everybody is welcome, Everybody is welcome in Seann Miley Moores world.

“Everybody is welcome in the world we live in today. That’s what it’s all about. Unity, Power and Pride.”

Eurovision: Australia Decides “I know it’s a competition, but I’ve already won”

“There’s a lyric in the song, ‘Imagine if you liked me, Imagine what I could be. My Body, our bodies just keep us alive.’

“That lyric is at the crux of the message behind My Body.

“There are people in the world that police our bodies, our queer bodies, female bodies and making rights about bodies where they haven’t lived in that experience.

“It’s really saying look at us in all our beautiful glory and in our pride, but our bodies keep us alive, we are both the same.

“So let us breathe, let us be beautiful, let us be bold in our bodies and let us just be together and thrive in this beautiful world we live in.”

There’s a powerful resonance in his acknowledgement that Seann Miley Moore isn’t just here to compete.

He’s here to share his story with the world and he can hardly wait.

“That’s the bigger picture and to be on that stage, I know it’s a competition, but I’ve already won because I am so proud of what I’m going to deliver and what I’m going to say.”
