Two police officers gave the London Pride parade a special touch at the weekend when they proposed to their respective partners.
One couple is made up of two of the force’s officers, while another officer proposed to his civilian boyfriend who had been standing among the spectators along the route.
Both proposals were accepted, as the surrounding crowds cheered and snapped photos.
Tens of thousands of proud revellers gathered in central London for the parade, now celebrating its 43rd year.
The crowd also held a minute’s silence in Trafalgar Square to remember the 49 victims of the Orlando massacre, shot dead in a gay nightclub earlier this month.
