Lady Gaga will appear as a guest judge on the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Just days after her epic Super Bowl Halftime performance, Gaga announced on Twitter that she’ll appear in the series’ ninth season premiere, expected to air in the US next month.
Gaga wrote on Twitter: “The time has come! I’m joining the girls on the season premiere of @RuPaulsDragRace! #DontBeADrag #JustBeAQueen.”
The singer also playfully reached out to RuPaul on Twitter about an appearance, citing drag queens as one of her major influences, to which Ru replied “Yes!”

Drag Race’s 13 new contestants were unveiled last week, and you can meet all of them here, in videos posted to the show’s US network LOGO’s website.
The US premiere date of the series is yet to be announced. In Australia, Foxtel has aired previous seasons on its channel Arena.
Earlier this week, Lady Gaga announced five months of tour dates for her upcoming Joanne World Tour, but unfortunately Australia didn’t make the list.
