Lady Gaga stunned with an epic halftime show performance during the US Super Bowl on Sunday. She appeared to jump from the roof onto the stage.
But Gaga seemed to resist the urge to take a swipe at US President Donald Trump, beyond a brief cover of folk protest song “This Land Is Your Land”.
During the 13-minute set, a wired-up Gaga appeared to jump off the roof of the stadium before falling to the top of the stage as she performed hits including “Poker Face,” “The Edge of Glory,” “A Million Reasons” and “Bad Romance”.
She also performed LGBTI anthem “Born This Way”.
“I believe in the spirit of equality and the spirit of this country as one of love, and compassion, and kindness,” Gaga explained before the performance.
“My performance will uphold those philosophies… I don’t know if it will succeed in unifying America. You’ll have to ask America when it’s over.”
