Watch: Gay man throws bible into fire at church book-burning

Book-burning

A brave gay Tennessee couple attended a church book-burning earlier in the month and made their own contribution. One of the men threw a Bible into the fire while calling out ‘Hail Satan’.

Chris Hardin posted a video of the incident to YouTube.

“Husband and I went to a book burning in Mount Juliet Tennessee Thursday, before joining atheist and pagan counter-protesters across the street playing Highway to Hell and Harry Potter on a projector.

“Video of us as my husband throws a Bible in and declared he was saving Darwin’s Origin of the Species and Fahrenheit 451 as he held them up to the crowd.

“It took him shouting ‘I Burned a Bible’ several times before they stopped cheering and realized they’d been had.

“They aggressively threw us out but we had a chance to disgust them with a kiss before we left.”

Pastor Greg Locke organised the book-burning outside of Nashville last week.

Let’s give the devil a black eye

He invited his congregation to participate in the event because “God is taking note and so is the Devil!

“Let’s go give the devil a black eye.”

Among the books burned — copies of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter stories, which allegedly promote witchcraft.

Disney products also joined the conflagration because of the Disney corporations support for LGBTQ equality in the workplace.

Wow, let’s hope Pastor Locke doesn’t see our article about the all-grown-up Disney prince/pornstar.

Chris Hardin’s husband shouted ‘I burned the Bible!’ after throwing a book onto the flames. Swept up in the emotion of the event, Locke’s congregants continued to cheer.

“Keepin’ my copies of Darwin’s Origin of Species and Farhenheit 451!” called the Bible-burner, “Praise Satan! Woo hoo! Hail Satan!”

Suddenly catching on, the crowd turns surly and some of the congregation escorted to the two men out of the event.

“In the name of Jesus Christ,” said one, “You shall be saved.”

In a final FU, Chris Hardin and his hubby stopped for a kiss before driving off.
