Singer Adele has accepted a Los Angeles gay couple’s invitation to their wedding, and offered to perform at the nuptials for free.
In between songs at a recent concert in Los Angeles’ Staples Centre, the chatty superstar pulled the couple, Vince and Ryan, up onto the stage.
She told them she saw that they’d been dancing “literally like there was no one else here” and found out they were engaged.
“We’re getting married next September,” the pair said.
“We said before the show… if we see Adele and go up there, I want her to come to the wedding as a guest.”
Adele quickly invited herself, quipping: “Oh, I’m free! I would love to come… My tour should be over by then, yeah, so I’ll come.”
When the couple quizzed her on her pay rate, she replied: “Don’t worry, I’ll do it for free.”
The couple posted a video to YouTube of their moment onstage, thanking the singer and saying that they’d “forever cherish this memory.”
Adele has been touring for months, and frequently brings audience members up on stage.
