If ever you wanted to be handcuffed and strip-searched by a cop … then surely this was the moment!
British singer-songwriter Sam Smith was mobbed by adoring male fans when he left Qantas Credit Union Arena after his concert on Saturday and headed to popular gay bar Stonewall.
Well, aside from the fact he has become a global sensation with hits such as Lay Me Down, I’m Not The Only One and In The Lonely Hour, he stepped out in a sexy NYPD uniform.
“Channeling my inner George Michael last night xx,” Smith wrote on Instagram.
It’s a far cry from earlier this year when he was devastated to cancel his Australian tour due to damage to his vocal cords.
And the good news, of course, is that he will be performing in Brisbane this Saturday night at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (Boondall) in the final show of the Australian leg as part of his world tour.
