Todrick Hall has finally publicly addressed his time on Celebrity Big Brother.
It comes after a media blackout for the star about his time on the show.
Hall even went so far as to cancel his media appearances after the finale.
Todrick Hall to speak about Celebrity Big Brother
It’s been only a few short weeks since Todrick Hall’s controversial Celebrity Big Brother loss.
In what appeared to be a shock for the star nearly all of his housemates voted against him winning the program.
During his time on the show, he was seen saying disparaging comments about his fellow housemates.
Further to this, his gameplay was seen as duplicitous and insensitive, causing a backlash from audiences as well.
Despite this Todrick Hall made it all the way to the finale of the program where he lost in a landslide vote against him.
Since then the star has been silent about his time on the program.
“I have no desire to prove myself to people who were never rooting for me to begin with”
When the show wrapped and Todrick Hall was announced as the runner-up, he promptly cancelled all his media appearances for Celebrity Big Brother.
Since then he has made no public comment.
However this week he has taken to Instagram to address his silence with a promise to address his time on the show soon.
Ahead of his current tour opening, he made the announcement.
“I haven’t avoided press because I’m afraid to comment on my experience on Big Brother” he stated.
“But more to protect myself and my mental health to make sure I could actually get my show on stage and fulfil my obligations to my fans and my PAID employees.”
The emphasis on PAID was another nod to further allegations that have plagued the star.
Former performers that have worked for Todrick Hall on his projects have come forward to say they were not paid for their time.
The accusations did not help with his public perceptions during his time on the program.
“I have no desire to prove myself to people who were never rooting for me to begin with,” he continued.
“But I do want to say to my fans that I will be commenting on my experience once the show is open, because I feel you deserve it.”
“Thanks to everyone who watched and supported me in the bb house. It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but I’m glad I did it.”
“I am a human being, a real one…I’m not always nice, not always kind nor have I ever claimed to be.”
“I’m very flawed, I’m a work in progress, but that’s the beauty of being human. I have made a ton of mistakes in my life and I will continue to make mistakes, some publicly and some privately.”
