TINA ARENA LEADS AUSSIE ARTISTS SAYING YES TO EQUALITY

Tina Arena, Birds of Tokyo and Hermitude are among the 25 artists and bands taking part in the second volume of Australian Marriage Equality’s #SayYesToLove fundraising albums.

Tina Arena’s 2014 Mardi Gras anthem “Don’t Hide” appears on the compilation, as does EDM duo Hermitude’s “Searchlight,” Missy Higgin’s “Hidden Ones,” Brendan Maclean’s “The Feeling Again,” Melinda Schneider’s “Courageous,” and Simon Burke’s “Man To Man”.

Adam Spark, whose band Birds of Tokyo contributed their track “Weight of the World” to the compilation, said he and his band were proud to offer “our full support for this well overdue acceptance of equality in our modern society.”

“The heart wants what the heart wants, so who is anyone to govern that for us?” he said.

We ask that everyone with a soul to get behind this beautiful humanistic push for equal rights for all hearts.”

All the artists have donated tracks to the campaign, with proceeds from the sales of the albums going towards Australian Marriage Equality’s campaigns. Say Yes To Love Volume 2 is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores now.
