Early bird tickets are now on sale for this year’s Northern Exposure, Queensland’s premier bear festival that attracts visitors from all over the country each year.
NEX 2016 is organised by BrisBears’ committee and this year will run from September 29 to October 3, over a long weekend. There’s eight exciting events over five days, including a “Cubearet” evening, Wet Bear Pool Party, a Bearzilain feast, party nights, and the annual Mr Bear QLD competition.
The festival welcomes bears, cubs, chubs, otters, twubs and their admirers from throughout Queensland and around the country to celebrate masculinity and friendship.
“This year’s theme is ‘Bears Wonderland,’ and the festival will be full of mystery, enchantment and excitement,” the BrisBears committee said.
“We have an amazing festival planned, and we’re sure it will be bigger and better than last year. We look forward to seeing you all there!”
Before NEX 2016, BrisBears will hold their next event, the Husky Den Night, in their usual home downstairs at the Sportsman Hotel on August 20.
Tickets for NEX 2016 events can be bought individually or in multi-event packages for better value. For tickets and more information, go to www.brisbears.org.au.
