Those Two Vietnamese ‘Bachelor’ Contestants Are Now In A Relationship

Contestant on Vietnam The Bachelor

The two female contestants on Vietnam’s The Bachelor who made global headlines when they chose each other instead are now in a relationship.

Last month, contestant Minh Thu told the show’s bachelor Nguyen Quoc Trung at a rose ceremony that she had to leave the show because she was in love with fellow competitor, Truc Nhu.

“I went into this competition to find love, but I’ve found that love for myself,” she said.

“But it isn’t you. It’s someone else.”

She walked up to fellow bachelorette Truc Nhu and told her, “Come home with me.”

Truc initially agreed, telling the bachelor, “I know you’ll find someone who really loves you.”

In another twist, Truc Nhu later changed her mind, after being convinced by Nguyen Quoc to stay and give him another chance.

But one of the show’s producers have now said the two women got their happy ending.

Executive producer Anh Tran has confirmed to Nextshark that Minh Thu and Truc Nhu are now in a relationship.

“They left the show and have been together since,” he said.

“We delivered on our promise that two people would find love.”

He said two days after being convinced to stay, Truc Nhu asked producers for permission to leave the show because “she already found what she was looking for and it’s waiting for her at home.”

In 2016, two contestants on Australia’s version of The Bachelor, Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon, ended up falling in love after their stint on the show before splitting in 2017.

Last month, Channel Ten was accused of biphobia by fans after their promotion of a female contestant’s revelation of past relationships with women.
