An eager RuPaul fan has found some interesting merchandise online this week.
After taking to Twitter to share their interesting find they have unleashed some hilarious responses from RuPaul herself.
We’re not going to lie, we had a giggle.
Rupaul, an international brand
It’s well known that RuPaul is all about branding.
In fact, it’s what she’s built her empire on so far.
RuPaul has released everything from music to books, chocolate bars and of course her iconic TV programs.
She even recenty launched her newest production company Ruco this year.
And of course along the way the multi Emmy award winner has made it into the history books as well.
When you build an empire, you gotta protect your brand.
So when one fan uncovered a less than flattering christmas ornament based on the international star, Mama Ru was less than thrilled.
“Unauthorized Crap”
Sparking a flood of tweets online the item in question is a less than flattering Christmas bauble that is supposed to resemble RuPaul herself.
The end result is anything but.
Twitter user @PrinceCatEyez posted that it looked like “Jennifer Holiday mid performance.”
Eliciting a quick response from Ru. “Unauthorized Crap #ruinedchristmas” the star tweeted.

It wasn’t long before the memes started rolling with other drag stars and Ru herself getting in for a laugh.
Winner of All Stars 3, Trixie Mattel chimed in with a picture of the trinket captioning it “Just bought a dozen of these LMFAO.”
Rupaul was quick on the reply.

Firing off a string of responses with some well placed memes Ru started to get into the shade of it all.
From Drag Race jokes to poking fun at herself through her music and her latest videogame venture the replies had the internet gagging.
