A Woolworths supermarket in inner-city Sydney has gone viral after its staff understood the assignment and set up a Mardi Gras essentials stand for local revellers tonight.
In a viral photo posted to Twitter, the supermarket’s stand is adorned with rainbow flags and stacked with glow-in-the-dark lube, lip balm, Berocca, Panadol, Nurofen, and condoms, as well as rainbow paint and coloured streamers.
“Woolies Darlinghurst has set up their orgy stand for the weekend,” Twitter user Catherine wrote, sharing the photo.
The Twitter post got thousands of likes, with one person praising the supermarket for “knowing their market” on Mardi Gras weekend.
“Some staff member has had an absolute blast at work last night,” another said.
“They’ve really covered all bases here, very proud,” someone wrote.
But another pointed out, “They just need to add in Wet Ones and Metamucil.”
“I need one of everything,” someone else tweeted on the Woolworths photo.
