daniel radcliffe rear of the year

Danielle Radcliffe has taken out the Rear of the Year title with Jamie Dornan second and Andy Murray third.

There’s an upside to having a great backside – winning the Rear of the Year title.

This year’s British award went to former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, his posterior winning out over Jamie Dornan, of Fifty Shades of Grey, who came second despite his rear end getting much more screen time.

And while Andy Murray may be near the top of the world’s tennis rankings, it was his bottom which rounded out the top three.

The contest noted: “The Harry Potter child star has long-since matured into manhood with stage and screen roles transforming him into something of a sex symbol – baring all in the London and New York stage productions of Equus.”

Radcliffe bared all again for gay sex scenes in the 2013 film Kill Your Darlings, in which he plays poet Allen Ginsberg.

Past winners of the annual competition, created by publicity consultant Tony Edwards, include Graham Norton.

A strong supporter of LGBT rights, Radcliffe joked last year about the order of top Google searches for his name: “Daniel Radcliffe alcoholic. Daniel Radcliffe gay. Daniel Radcliffe girlfriend.”

I’m pleased my girlfriend (now) comes up before alcoholic or gay,” he said.

When I first did that, I got really annoyed for about half a minute, until I tried a few other people’s names and I found out (gay) comes up after almost everyone if they’re a man, and even some women – Florence Welch had it, and I was like, really?

If people are speculating about your sexuality, then you’re doing OK.”
