Spain is this month celebrating 10 years of marriage equality.
The Spanish Parliament voted 187-147 in favour of marriage equality back in June 2005, with the first weddings taking place the following month.
The decision made Spain the third country in the world to allow gay marriage behind the Netherlands and Belgium. Canada would soon join them 17 days later.
We can confirm that over the last decade, none of these countries experienced a push for bestiality or polygamy. Nor at any point has an Asian country accused them of being decadent.
