An American plastic surgeon has gone viral by sharing Japanese research that says big nose, big hose. The news raises the hopes of size queens everywhere that they can now estimate penis size by simply looking at a man’s nose.

Dr Anthony Youn recently shared a study published in Basic and Clinical Andrology with his TikTok followers. The research found that men with larger noses boast an average penile length of 5.3 inches (13.5 cm). However, the average penis size of men with shorter noses is 4.1 inches (10.4 cm). Previous research published in the British Journal of Urology International suggested an average Australian penis size of 5.24 inches (13.28cm).

Importantly though, all researchers agree that studies of penis size that rely on self-reporting result in much bigger dicks than studies where clinicians do the measuring. In other words, men will frequently exaggerate the length of their penis. That might explain why a QNews perusal of dating apps indicates an average Australian penis length of 9.5 inches (24.13cm). We might add that we then looked at images of famously endowed porn model Jake Andrich and thought he had quite a cute little nose.

The research puts the lie to the old story of the naked guy with an erection who ran into a wall and received no injury beyond a broken nose.

Big nose, big hose

Researchers from the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine undertook a study of 126 male forensic autopsy cases.

“The saying ‘Big nose, big hose’ suggests that nose size indicates penile length. However, scientific reports that prove this statement are not available to date.

“In this report, to confirm the truth of this statement, we analyzed the relationships between stretched penile length (SPL) and nose size as well as the weight of male genital organs in middle-aged people.”

Study authors said, “This study is the first to demonstrate the relationship between SPL and nose size.”

However, they also stated that their study was ‘limited to Japanese male cadavers’. Researchers also stated that the reason for the correlation between stretched penis length and nose size remained unclear.
