Senator Fraser Anning Dumped From Katter’s Australia Party

More than one million people have signed a petition calling for Queensland Senator Fraser Anning to be dumped from parliament.

Katter’s Australian Party leader Bob Katter has dumped homophobic Queensland Senator Fraser Anning from the party over his views on race and immigration.

The Queensland senator caused nationwide outrage in August when he told the Senate that Australia should ban the immigration of Muslims to Australia and return to a European-only immigration system as a “final solution,” invoking the Nazi regime and the Holocaust.

“We as a nation are entitled to insist that those who are allowed to come here predominantly reflect the historic European-Christian composition of Australian society,” he said.

“The final solution to the immigration problem is of course a popular vote.”

On Thursday, Bob Katter described Senator Anning as “99 per cent solid gold” but said there was “a problem” – Anning’s recent call for a plebiscite on whether to ban non-European migration to Australia had gone too far.

“The party cannot and will not have any representative from its executive, members of parliament, senators or candidates, dividing Australia along racial, European and non-European divide,” Mr Katter said.

In August, Katter said Anning’s “final solution” speech was “solid gold” and “absolutely magnificent” and that he supported the senator “1000 per cent”.

‘Sexually deviant propaganda’

In his maiden speech, Senator Anning also took aim at the Safe Schools anti-bullying program and called gender diversity “garbage”.

“To describe the so-called Safe Schools and ‘gender fluidity’ garbage being peddled in schools as ‘cultural Marxism’ is not a throwaway line but a literal truth,” he said.

“Given that everyone knows there are only two genders, if you can be persuaded to agree to and advocate in support of the false claim that there are ‘an infinite number of genders’, then, without realising it, you have surrendered your political soul.”

Then in September, Anning delivered another outrageously homophobic speech to the Senate calling the Safe Schools program “child abuse”, transgender people “deluded” and gender diversity “sinister” and “blatantly false”.

“Fifty years ago, if a communist pervert had proposed that our nation’s children be forced to listen to sexually deviant propaganda, they would probably have been strung up,” he said.

“Today, this disgusting garbage is called the Safe Schools program, and its leading exponents hold comfortable government funded positions.”
