Want to pick up a bargain frock or wig for your next drag or performing arts show?
Brisbane’s Sportsman Hotel will hold another of their successful “Drag Swap Meets” this weekend.
There’ll be a wide range of glamorous frocks, fabric, shoes, wigs, jewellery and makeup on offer, as several Queensland drag stars and vendors come together to buy, sell and swap some of the items they no longer need.
The swap meet will held in Sporties’ Lounge Bar on Saturday, March 24, with doors open from 1pm that afternoon.
Entry is a $1 gold coin donation and the fee to set up a table is $3. All the money raised from the gold coin donations and table fees will be donated to Brisbane’s Open Doors Youth Service.
Space for the event is limited, and if you want to take part Sporties have said bookings are essential.
