Sasha Colby drags JK Rowling: ‘All you are is afraid’

Weeks after taking home the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 crown, Sasha Colby keeps proving exactly why the hell she’s a winner, baby.

‘Your favourite drag queen’s favourite drag queen’ is currently on her victory tour, and is continuing to cement her legacy as a trans icon.

Sasha has been increasingly vocal about the importance of trans visibility, revealing recently that her finale look was, in fact, a huge ‘f*ck you’ to the lawmakers and politicians rolling back trans rights in America.

And now, Sasha has set her sights on other enemies of the trans community.

JK Rowling is not on Sasha’s level

In an interview with Logo, Sasha was asked what message she would send to the transphobic Harry Potter author.

Queer as Folk‘s Johnny Sibilly sat down with Sasha to ask her some hard hitting questions, asking Sasha to “give JK Rowling a piece of her mind.”

“So your husband left you for a t****y? That’s what this is all about, right?” Sasha joked.

“Child, you know what, I get it. Because – like how Mistress [Isabelle Brooks] said, [I’m] Dumbledore. I get it,” she continued, referencing an inside joke between contestants on Season 15.

She then directed devastating shade at the author herself, calling her a “muggle” with “no magic.”

“Baby, only diva can see diva. Only goddess can see goddess.

“If you’re not on my level, you can’t see me. If you’re not on my level, and I’m here, all you see is a shadow. All you are is afraid.”

Stop rewarding transphobes

The question perhaps comes amid the ongoing building of JK rowling’s transphobic empire as of late.

After lining her pockets with more money from the Hogwarts game, HBO has recently announced a remake series of the original franchcise, with Rowling set to executive produce.

She has also come us a frequent ally of other notorious transphobes such as Posie Parker, and most recently, the late Barry Humphries.

So can we let this transphobe fade into obscurity yet? Or at least fire her and cast Sasha Colby as Dumbledore!
