SAM SMITH HINTS THAT HE WILL SING THE NEXT 007 THEME

Sam Smith has long been rumoured to be the voice of the next James Bond theme song, and despite a few denials and brush off of journalists’ questions, Smith has just given the strongest indication yet that he has the gig.

With the next Bond film ‘Spectre’ due out this November, Smith this week tweeted a black and white photo of a ring adorned with an octopus – the logo of the Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion (SPECTRE) which was made famous in Ian Fleming’s Bond novels before making its film debut in the 1962 film Dr No.

The logo has been used heavily in the promotion of the upcoming film, which will see Daniel Craig reprise his role as 007.

Spectre will be release in Australia on 6 November but it is expected that the theme song will be released earlier.
