Drag star RuPaul has revealed that he and his Australian partner, Georges LeBar married earlier this year on their 23rd anniversary.
“I’ve never said this on television before: we are married,” RuPaul told Hollywood Today Live.
“I met him on the dancefloor at [New York gay bar] Limelight in 1994 on his birthday, so we got married on his birthday, the anniversary of when we met, in January this year.”
Ru continued: “He’s a great guy but he doesn’t care about showbusiness at all.
“He has a 60,000 acre ranch in two states, South Dakota and Wyoming.
“When I go there, I dress up in the most gorgeous Western wear, but nobody cares!”
Earlier this week it was announced the new season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, featuring special guest Lady Gaga, would be fast-tracked to Australian audiences.
