RAINBOW PICNIC IN TOOWOOMBA FOR IDAHOT

PFLAG Toowoomba's Rainbow Picnic For IDAHOT

Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) Toowoomba are holding a rainbow picnic to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) on May 15.

The picnic will be held on Sunday May 15 at the Toowoomba Rose Garden on Holberton Street, and the group says all LGBT people and their family and friends are welcome to attend to meet and socialise.

Organisers are asking everyone to bring their own food and drink, and seating. PFLAG will be serving up a cake for dessert.

Several events are being held in Brisbane and in regional Queensland to mark the day, including a number of free events in Brisbane on both May 15 and IDAHOT’s official date of May 17.
