Brisbane’s beloved adults-only Christmas comedy A Very Naughty Christmas is back to tickle your tinsel this December.

Now in its fifth year, the racy Christmas cabaret show has built a cult following and in a few weeks returns to Brisbane Powerhouse.

The show is a Christmas comedy for adults with a live band, eight electric performers and Christmas classics as you’ve never heard them before.

Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, Brisbane’s sexiest carollers will get into the holiday “spirits” with stripteases, Christmas stories and parody songs.

However, be warned – you may never be able to hear your favourite carols the same way again.

Brisbane producer Alex Woodward explained A Very Naughty Christmas first came about in 2017.

At the time, he was frustrated by the lack of live Christmas shows that appealed to him and his friends.

“Everything was just so child and family-focused,” he said.

“I wanted to see something that would make me laugh and I could enjoy with my mates.”

Alex Woodward said A Very Naughty Christmas stars some of the best comedians and cabaret performers around.

The cast have previous credits including Mamma Mia, Grease, Into The Woods, Priscilla and many others.

On December 9, they’ll return to the Brisbane Powerhouse to have some festive fun.

Expect adult references, coarse language and nudity in the 18+ show. However Santa only comes once a year and tickets are limited, so get in quick.

“Director Dan Venz, choreographer Maureen Bowra and I are incredibly excited to continue this new Christmas tradition,” Alex said.

A Very Naughty Christmas is at Brisbane Powerhouse from December 9 to 19. Tickets on sale now at the website.
