The Queer Youth Christmas Party promises a festive evening for LGBTQIA+ youth and rainbow families at Brunswick Heads Bowling Club on December 7.
Hosted by Northern Rivers community group Queer Family, this Christmas party all about celebrating community and connection as the year comes to a close.
Kicking off at 4pm, the party opens its doors to queer and questioning youth up to 24 years old, their families, and rainbow families, offering a safe and inclusive space to unwind and celebrate. Attendees can dive into a variety of activities including Christmas crafts, games, circus skills, and free lawn bowls. For those who want to spread the holiday spirit, a queer Secret Santa gift exchange will also be in play.
From 6pm, the event transitions to an adults-only gathering, giving older community members a chance to mingle and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase.
With its welcoming vibe and playful activities, the Queer Youth Christmas Party invites the local LGBTQIA+ community to wrap up the year on a high note.
