Queensland’s biggest annual Pup Play weekend!

Pup & Handler Competition pup play

The third annual Queensland Pup & Handler Competition happens on the weekend of April 29 – May 1. Tickets are available now for Queensland’s biggest annual Pup Play weekend.

Queensland Pups & Handlers president Sir Tigs said the club can’t wait to crown a 2022 Queensland Pup and a 2022 Queensland Handler. Following a two-year COVID-induced absence, the competition returns brimming with the diversity, excitement and energy of Human Pup Play.

The weekend begins with Balls Out Bingo: Pup & Handler Edition at the Sportsman Hotel on Friday night. The following day sees everyone heading down to the Valley for the Q-PAH 2022 Mini Golf Championship. Then, that evening the action returns back up the hill to Sporties for the Qld Pup & Handler Competition and Dance Party.

Sunday is huge. In the morning: a Little-Pups Workshop and then the Puppy Pizza Party. The afternoon starts with a Gear Care Workshop, followed by the Pup Play History Workshop on the emergence of Pup Play in Australia. Next, the Mega Mosh, followed by Beach Walkies and an ocean dip for those who choose.

Queensland Pup & Handler Competition

The Queensland Pup & Handler Competition is a feeder competition for the national comp.  In 2022, Queensland will host the Australian Pup and Handler Competition for the first time. Therefore, Queensland winners have the opportunity to compete at a national level without travelling interstate.

Sir Tigs said Queensland Pups & Handlers are looking to crown a Queensland Pup and a Queensland Handler who will act as positive role models in the pup play community and also promote the community in a positive light throughout the year.
