PUTIN: WE WON’T HAVE ENOUGH CHILDREN LEFT IF GAYS MARRY

Oh those crazy Russians… Vladimir Putin is no stranger to saying crazy things about LGBT people but his latest outburst really takes the cake.

Rather than feigning religious offence like most conservative leaders, Putin’s position is that gay people should not be allowed to marry because Russia would not be able to produce enough children to survive, according to UK Prime minister David Cameron who says Putin gave him that explanation during a conversation in 2013 at a G20 meeting.

The details of the meeting have been revealed in a new book ‘Cameron At 10’ which covers Cameron’s first term in office.

“Cameron is riding a high horse, using arguments fresh from his jousting on gay marriage back home, while Putin argues that Russia’s future demography will have problems if gay people are allowed to marry each other, and that the country will not have enough children to secure its future,” the book reads as serialised in the British publication The Mail.

“At times they seem to be enjoying it, at times they seem angry.

“They are acting like executives at a sales conference who have stayed up too late at the bar.

“Aides on both sides just wish they’d shut up so they can all go to bed, amazed that they are still talking so late into the night in the midst of such an important international event.”

It is not known if Cameron pointed out to Putin that for that to happen, Russia must have way more gay couples than anywhere else in the world.
