‘Pukeworthy’: Mark Latham is ranting about gay sex again

Disgraced One Nation NSW leader Mark Latham has resurfaced and made more crude homophobic comments about gay sex in an unbelievable radio interview.

Last month, Latham lashed out at gay Sydney MP Alex Greenwich in a tweet so beyond the pale that even Pauline Hanson said she was “disgusted” by her party’s NSW leader.

Even conservative Sky News host Andrew Bolt begged Latham to “get treatment” for “his self-destruct button” after the “vicious” spray.

Mark Latham deleted the tweet but repeatedly refused to apologise as colleagues declared him unfit for parliament.

On Thursday the One Nation MP hit the button again on TNT Radio, making a string of crude homophobic remarks about gay sex acts.

“The basic natural reality is that we don’t go for anal sex with blokes and it’s pukeworthy,” he told host Chris Smith.

Latham repeated the “vomit” claim multiple times and claimed he “speaks for straight men” and “that’s what makes us straight”.

“I know there’s no category or letter in the LGBT-ABC-WTF alphabet for straight men. But that’s how we honestly feel about people like Greenwich,” he said.

Pauline Hanson and Mark Latham apparently aren’t speaking

Elsewhere in the interview, Mark Latham launched into even more sprays against “the gays” before taking aim at his own boss Pauline Hanson.

He denied the One Nation party leader’s assertion she had contacted him and he said he’s “not resigning from anything”.

“Pauline hasn’t rung me at any stage during this. I’ve had no contact from her whatsoever,” Latham said.

“I’m assuming that, as a woman, she doesn’t understand how straight men feel about this.”

Meanwhile, inside the New South Wales parliament, Mark Latham has an appalling record on LGBTQIA+ rights.

Among the unsuccessful bills he’s pushed was one that equality advocates slammed as Australia’s “most anti-LGBTQIA+ piece of legislation this century”.

Alex Greenwich earlier slammed Latham as a “disgusting human being” and a “hateful and dangerous individual”.

Latham told TNT Radio he believed the comments were an attack on his “very existence” and claimed they were based on “fake and confected allegations”.

But he conceded his Twitter response was “crudely expressed” and once more declared he would not apologise.

Alex Greenwich said he didn’t want one and earlier described Latham’s spray as “obviously not the comments of a well person”.

Alex said he would focus on “working with the majority of members who support the LGBTQIA+ community to progress important reforms, remove discrimination and make it clear those views belong in the past.”

The gay MP also simply responded with a photo of him and his partner.
