As a longtime supporter of marriage equality, Joshua marries many LGBTIQ couples.
He and his partner, Kevin, celebrated their own marriage in June last year, to coincide with their 25th anniversary.

Joshua also provides services as a Funeral Celebrant, falling back on his experience as a professional grief counsellor to celebrate the life and values of lost loved ones with empathy and compassion.
