Byron Bay Photographer John Bortolin introduces Manscapes male nude portrait book.
The artistic celebration of the male body features 25 of the Northern Rivers’ fittest men, photographed nude in the beautiful Byron Shire and its surrounding areas, with the lush semi-tropical hills, hidden creeks, farms, waterfalls and spectacular beaches as the backdrop.
“The incredible landscapes of the Byron Bay Shire and its surrounding areas have always inspired me,” John said.
“I am also an enormous fan of the male body, with its strength and power, yet like any landscape, its vulnerability.
“Over the last two years 25 courageous men have taken the plunge, handing themselves over to my creative vision and revealing themselves to the camera lens.
“I do love showing a guy what others see through a picture.”
“A side they don’t see in themselves.
“Sometimes we all need a reminder of how fabulous we are.
“Most of the men that model for me are non professional models who live around the Byron Bay region and the surrounding towns.
“I’m pleased they agreed to model for my Manscapes male nude photography project.”
