Two men allegedly pretended to be a gay couple before luring a woman to a public toilet in Perth, where they allegedly raped her, a court has heard.

Alberto Nicoletti, 29, and Vincenzo Mineo, 36, appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on August 12, WA Today reported.

The victim, aged in her 20s, told police that on March 14, the two men befriended her at The Lookout bar in the Perth suburb of Scarborough.

The pair then invited her into a disabled cubicle in a public toilet by the beach to do cocaine, she alleged.

They led her to believe they were a gay couple, she explained. However once inside the toilet, the men allegedly raped the woman.

The two men were caught on CCTV walking out of the toilet block.

The pair then headed to a different bar after the alleged attack. There, they sexually assaulted two more women the same night, police claimed.

“During their investigation, Sex Assault Squad detectives were also contacted by other women who were allegedly sexually assaulted by the same men,” a WA Police spokesperson said.

Two Perth men facing over a dozen charges

In all, the two men are facing 15 charges relating to their alleged sexual offences, WA Police said.

Vincenzo Mineo has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent, aggravated indecent assault, and sexual penetration without consent.

Alberto Nicoletti is accused of having a long history of sexually assaulting women.

He is facing 10 charges for the alleged sexual assault of six different women over the last five years.

WA Police said his alleged victims were all in their 20s.

The men have not yet entered pleas. Nicoletti was denied bail and remains in custody, while Mineo is in home detention.

Police are still investigating the pair’s alleged crimes. Detectives urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
