NORWAY: SOCCER STAR SENT OFF FOR GAY INSULT

It is believed that Simen Juklerød a Norwegian professional soccer player has become the first professional player to ever be sent off for using homophobic language.

Juklerød tried to sledge an opponent by calling him gay as an insult but instead of gaining the upper hand, the referee had no hesitation in throwing him out of the game on the spot.
