It’s an exciting time in the Australian pop world at the moment: Rogue Traders have released a new single, Dirty Dirty Disco, featuring Dannii Minogue alongside longtime vocalist Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
Dropped into our laps this week, the track is a slice of disco-pop made for pumping up the volume, putting on something covered in sequins and heading out for a night with the girls, gays and theys.
Dannii has entered the disco
With Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Dannii Minogue sharing vocals, Dirty Dirty Disco has enough Australian pop power to power an entire Pride float.
The track leans into its disco credentials, with big hooks and a driving beat. Minogue says the collaboration was an absolute joy, describing the song as having “glamorous swag” and a bounce that makes her want to dance.
For Rogue Traders, the single marks the next chapter for the band and a new addition to a catalogue of songs that have soundtracked Australian dance floors for two decades, including Voodoo Child, Watching You and In Love Again.

And there’s a music video
The accompanying music video leans fully into the disco aesthetic with its glittery lights, dancing and fabulous outfits.
And, would it be wrong of us to say that there is something a bit ABBA-inspired about the whole affair? See for yourself and let us know.
Between the styling and the glittering disco vibes, it’s a camp, shiny and dancefloor-ready clip perfectly in line with the song.
As Bassingthwaighte puts it, the video is all about “the outfits, the glamour, the lights, the movement.”
What more could a queer heart ask for?
The single arrives as Rogue Traders prepare for The Anthems tour, marking 21 years of the band, with new dates added for October and November 2026.
So whether you’re having a daytime disco with sunglasses (as Dannii suggests), or heading out for a Saturday night boogie, make sure to add this one to your playlist.
Dirty Dirty Disco is out now on all streaming platforms.
