Melt Festival Picnic

The Brisbane Powerhouse’s parklands will come alive this Sunday when the community gathers for the MELT Festival’s first picnic @ Powerhouse Park!

As well as food and drink trucks and free performances, on the day there will be a Dog & Owner Costume Parade showcasing our most glamorous pooches, the Dykes on Bikes row, live art, and a Hot Boi Contest.

The free event will be held on the Brisbane Powerhouse’s Performance Lawn (Powerhouse Park) and is one of three exciting new events at this year’s festival. With drink available there is NO BYO due to licensing restrictions.

MELT PICNIC at Powerhouse Park“In 2015, MELT patrons told us they’re ready to participate so we’ve invented three great open access events, and to these we invite all of Brisbane to join the party,” MELT Festival Director Adam Gardnir said.

At MELT Picnic this year we have:
Food trucks and stalls
Licensed bar
Community Stall holders
HIV Foundation Queensland Photo Booth
Entertainment by Michael Griffiths, Emma Dean, DJ Ish and Harry K.
