When Mel B opens her mouth she normally doesn’t mince her words.
So it’s hardly surprising that the world didn’t spin off its axis when she labelled former Spice Girls band mate Victoria “Posh” Beckham “a little bit of a bitch”.
But with Mel B still hopeful to get all the girls together for a 20-year reunion tour this year she was quick to qualify her candid comment.
“She’s just a little bit of a bitch to people. But she’s very down to earth, with a great sense of humour,” she said on podcast Allegedly, via Digital Spy.
“I think between the five of us, we’re all bitches.”
When asked what she thought of Victoria’s (and husband David Beckham’s) lifestyle, she said: “(Victoria) worked hard for it. She deserves that lifestyle.”
Victoria has steadfastly refused to be any part of a reunion tour but has given her blessing for Mel, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mel C to get back together without her.
“We are in talks with each other closely about this reunion. So until there’s something official to say, there’s no point saying anything,” Mel B said.
“I do feel like it’s getting closer and closer to that point… I’ve been trying to get those bitches back together for years!”
