Meet the queens of Drag Race France

Drag Race France

The latest international iteration of Drag Race is about to begin as RuPaul’s Drag Race France announces their upcoming cast.

Ten queens will compete for the very first french title.

And these queens look set to slay!

Drag Race France

We are just weeks away from the debut of Drag Race France and now we have our first look at the upcoming cast.

As reported earlier this year, season 12 alumni Nicky Doll will be hosting the program.

Nicky will be joined by french television host Daphné Bürki as well as DJ and LGBTQIA+ activist Kiddy Smile.

“I’m honored and thrilled to be the mistress of ceremonies of this emblematic show, which is going to revolutionize French drag and give prominence to incredible queer artists” she said.

Sadly like many other international spin offs RuPaul and Michelle will not be joining the panel.

However the cast looks absolutely sickening.

Drag Race France will see ten queens compete for the crown in their inaugural season.

With just ten queens the competition is bound to be fierce and World of Wonder have released a very eclectic cast.

La Grande Dame is a key figure in the french drag scene and identifies as the most followed french drag queen on Instagram.

She has even walked for Jean-Paul Gaultier’s last Haute Couture collection.

La Big Bertha joins the cast as a fabulous bearded cabaret and burlesque performer.

This season will also feature a trans contestant as professional voice artist La Briochée joins the cast.

Meanwhile Kam Hughs claim to fame is being the first French drag queen to have had her portrait in ELLE France.

Drag Race France will kick off on June 25th.

See all the queens on the official World of Wonder Instagram account below.
