Meet Imri Ziv, the hunky singer Israel is sending to Eurovision 2017 in Ukraine this week.

Update: In 2023, Imri Ziv came out as gay.

Imri won the Israeli singing competition HakoKhav HaBa to earn his place at Eurovision 2017. He also previously competed on The Voice Israel and he performed as a backing vocalist for Israel’s 2015 and 2016 Eurovision entries.

and will perform his summery track “I Feel Alive” at Eurovision in Kyiv, Ukraine this week.

The Eurovision Song Contest will screen on SBS in primetime from May 12, with live screenings at 5:00 am from May 10 for the early risers.

Imri will be competing against our contender, X Factor winner Isaiah Firebrace, who’s following in the footsteps of Guy Sebastian and last year’s runner-up Dami Im.
