Australian women’s soccer player Chloe Logarzo and her partner McKenzie Berryhill have gotten engaged just days after reuniting post-Olympics.
Logarzo (above far left), from Sydney, plays for both Australia’s national women’s team the Matildas, and a Kansas City team in the USA.
The 26-year-old was one of dozens of openly LGBTIQ athletes in the women’s soccer competition at the Tokyo Olympics.
In Tokyo, the Matildas sadly narrowly missed out on bronze, losing 4-3 to the US women’s team.
But during a post-Olympics stint on the Greek island of Mykonos, the two women shared their engagement news on Instagram.
Both women posted photos of themselves holding each other’s hands. An engagement ring on one of Berryhill’s fingers, and the pair spread the message.
