LGBT NDIS

Living Communities is an LGBT NDIS provider with a holistic approach to disability support services. The team at Living Communities can provide support, or alternatively match clients with relevant supports within their own local community.

Living Communities concentrate on building a strong foundation of support. They help nurture clients towards greater participation in their community, leading to better health outcomes and improved quality of life.

Living Communities founder Ben Bullivant said he suffered bullying himself for a disability throughout his childhood.

“I am therefore a firm believer in social justice. I feel that the needs, rights, and basic human dignity of every person should never be overlooked.

“Individuals with a disability deserve the same opportunity to participate in the community as any other person. Supports are necessary to ensure the dignity and respect of an individual. Everyone has the right to choose what they want from life. Making those choices is empowering and essential to human growth.

“Living Communities exists to assist with people who sometimes have their voices lost in crowded spaces. This is especially true for those who identify as LGBTQIA++.

“We empower our clients, providing them with ways and means to improve their quality of life.”
