Lismore LGBTIQ social group Tropical Fruits is looking for a new club manager to lead their fruity team.
The Tropical Fruits put on fun, safe and inclusive LGBTIQ events in the Northern Rivers region of northern New South Wales.
“We are a vibrant community not-for-profit delivering events and social activities for our members and guests, including our flagship New Year’s Eve Festival. We love LGBTIQ community, culture and creating magic on NYE,” the group says.
“You are LGBTIQ friendly, love people and volunteer management, have strong administration and governance skills and want to be a part of producing world class events.”
The role is a permanent part time position – 21 hours a week – based in Lismore.
Applications for the position close at 5:00 pm Wednesday, July 4.
This year, the Tropical Fruits are proudly celebrating their 30th anniversary.
The group was founded in June 1988, with membership growing quickly in the 1990s with regular events around the “Rainbow Region”.
Planning is currently underway for their annual New Year’s Eve Festival, which attracts thousands of participants including many interstate visitors each year.
