Lesbian Love A Winner Former Biggest Loser Star Fiona Falkiner

Fiona Falkiner with Lara Creber on Biggest Loser

Former Biggest Loser star Fiona Falkiner is on to a winner.

Falkiner, 34, told Cosmopolitan magazine she is in a lesbian relationship with Lara Creber, a personal trainer, and director of a Sydney fitness company.

But Falkiner said she was “shocked” and “disappointed” to find pictures of herself in a glossy magazine.

“I felt shocked when I saw the pictures,” she said. “I’ve been laying pretty low recently and I didn’t know that anyone was ‘watching me’ if that makes sense.

“Every time I see photos of myself where I was unaware someone was taking them, it does get you a little shocked and down.

“I was just a bit disappointed that it is such big news that there are photos of me kissing a girl.

“There’s nothing ‘scandalous’ about it. Lara and I met on a trip to South America and I’m all about falling in a love with a person and yes, I’ve fallen in love with Lara.”

Fiona Falkiner told Cosmopolitan it was her first same-sex relationship.

“I’m at a place in my life where I’m just focusing on what makes me happy and not caring what other people think and focusing inwardly. And Lara was part of that journey.

“I was opening myself up to good people, to good experiences. You know, finding what makes me happy and I think it helped to be away from Australia as I guess I could just be myself.”

It was only earlier this year that Falkiner opened up to Nova FM’s Fitzy & Wippa about starting a new relationship with a mystery man.

“We are taking it slow because it’s still early days and we haven’t had the ‘exclusivity’ talk yet, but he’s ticking a lot of boxes,” she said at the time.

But now, it seems, she couldn’t be happier.

“It’s a new thing and it always makes it difficult when everyone chimes in and has an opinion about the person you’re dating,” Falkiner said.

“Luckily all the people that matter are so supportive and they’re just happy that I’m happy.”
