Kylie Minogue could be making a big return to RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, this time judging a Kylie-themed runway in the upcoming season three.

Kylie – alongside her sister Dannii – made virtual appearances on the show back in season one.

But a TV source says Kylie will appear on the judging panel on the new season, watching a Night of 1000 Kylies-themed runway. Imagine the looks…

The next crop of Aussie and Kiwi queens filmed the new Drag Race Down Under season in Auckland earlier this year.

A month ago, judge Rhys Nicholson first spilled tea on “proper pop megastar people” on the judging panel on season three.

“We’ve had guest stars before, but we filmed the first two seasons through pretty deep Covid-y times,” Rhys told ABC Radio.

“For the first time we got to have real people in the studios. The lineup is pretty bonkers. I got to sit next to some pretty wild guests.

Rhys said they just a humble Aussie “sitting next to proper pop megastar people, and then on the other side is RuPaul and Michelle Visage.”

Rhys Nicholson, who uses they/them pronouns, explained Ru and Michelle were not divas and warmly welcomed them “into the family”.

“We go for dinners, go for lunches and hang out… Michelle and I are pretty good buddies now, we text pretty regularly. It never gets old to me,” they said.

“Ru continues to be as incredible and as warm as she is. It’s never lost on me and I hope it’s never lost on me that I’m sitting next to RuPaul.”

There’s been plenty of rumours and tea about who’s on the lineup of Drag Race Down Under season 3.

But all will be officially confirmed and Ru-vealed later this year when RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under streams on Stan.

Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue is working on her 16th studio album. In April, she released the runway-ready collaboration 10 out of 10 with Oliver Heldens.
