Iconic star of Sex and The City, Kim Cattrall, is joining the new cast of Queer As Folk. 

It was recently announced that the hit series is being revived. 

After the new diverse case was recently announced, Kim Cattrall has now been confirmed as joining.

While her former Sex and The City castmates are ready to debut their reboot And just like that Kim Cattrall is moving on to other projects.

It was recently announced that she would also be joining the cast of the new How I Met Your Father playing an older Hilary Duff.

Earlier this week news broke that she would be joining the Queer as Folk Cast.

Described as a “martini-soaked, high society southern debutant with trailer park roots” the character has many anticipating her inclusion.

Not only does the role sound camp and fun, but it’s also a nod to more inclusion in the program.

Cattrall continues to shun the stigma of “aging” women in Hollywood by taking on the role in all her fabulousness.

Notable cast members also include Johnny Sibilly known for his role in Pose and most recently Hacks.

Ryan O’Connell who wrote and starred in Special will also join the cast.

O’Connell will play a pop culture nerd who also has Cerebral Palsy.

The new cast will also include trans and non-binary actors/characters.

Non-Binary actor Jess James Keitel will play a struggling trans party girl who is struggling to grow up.

While Candace Grace will play the role of a non-binary professor, navigating parenthood.

Cattrall has always been dearly beloved by many queer fans of Sex and The City.

Her role as Samantha was iconic for her unashamed representation of sex-positivity on screen.

Whilst some of that shows content may not have aged well, the resurgence of Cattrall has the internet gagging.
