Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente has officially been confirmed as one of the judges for the upcoming season of Drag Race Philippines.

Speculation has been mounting about her involvement in recent weeks.

However the drag star has taken to Instagram to confirm her part in the program.

Jiggly Caliente to judge on Drag Race Philippines

It’s been a long journey for Jiggly Caliente.

The fan favourite originally appear on season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race back in 2012.

It wasn’t until nearly ten years later that she returned to compete on All Stars Six, now as a proud trans woman.

Between seasons she has appeared in the hit television series Pose as well as well as numerous film and television cameos.

However this week she has been able to reveal her most exciting news to date.

Jiggly Caliente will be a judge on Drag Race Philippines. 

“I am overjoyed in a major major way to be joining the judges panel for Drag Race Philippines,” she said in a statement after the announcement.

“There is a fierce Filipino drag scene and I am proud to be returning to my home country in this new role as a Drag Race judge to shine a spotlight on these incredible artists to the world — or the universe, rather. Pak! Mabuhay, Drag Race!”

 

When will we see Drag Race Philippines?

Although it’s still a little while away yet, the premiere date has been set for August 17th.

Jiggly Caliente will join a yet to be named host and other judges on the main stage when the program debuts.

In addition it has been announced Drag Race Philippines will be the first international spin off to have it’s own untucked program.

Similar to the US version their Untucked will air each week after the main program.
