JAMAICA: 75% OF LGBT JAMAICANS WANT TO FLEE PERSECUTION

Anti LGBT sentiment has become so bad in Jamaica that a new survey has found that three out of ever four LGBT Jamaicans wish they could flee their homeland to escape persecution.

This alarming figure was found in a recent study investigating the developmental cost of homophobia in the country. Male to male consensual sex is illegal in Jamaica and can be punished with a 10 year prison term and hard labour.
