YouTube star Tyler Oakley invited deaf America’s Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco onto his YouTube channel recently. Nyle gave Tyler lessons on the art of flirting with guys in sign language.
Besides learning how to sign ice breakers such as “What’s your name?”, “Do you want a drink?”, “Wanna go back to your place or my place?” the video is also focused on spreading the message of inclusivity.
With the hunky model as his teacher, Tyler is a fast learner. He’s no stranger when it comes to educating his viewers on challenges the deaf community has to face.
At the beginning of his video, Oakley explains: “Y’all know that I caption my videos, I think it’s really important for everyone to be able to enjoy the content.”
Nyle not only taught Tyler Oakley how to sign but also promoted his We Are Able campaign that fights against stigma around people with disabilities.
“I believe everyone should have access so that way they have equal opportunities in everything,” he said.
